Civilians saluting our military through service

After 9/11, many of the opportunities that existed for the civilian community to interact with the military community went away due to security concerns.  While this is understandable, the stronger connection that used to exist between our two communities has suffered.  The mission here at CivilianSalute is to bridge that gap between us and honor and support those who accept the risk, make the sacrifice and dare to serve our country.

CivilianSalute is a grassroots, civilian based organization.  We operate under the mantra that while all can't serve, all can be patriots.  No need to be military or have any connection to it.  We simply seek civilians who appreciate our country and care to support those who help protect it.

We support active duty military families in our communities.  Participate in activities that support our military and first responders. Assist in fundraising for various organizations. Work with VFWs, American Legions and police. Provide opportunities for civilian families, with their children, to interact with our veterans and active duty military, hear the stories, learn about history and in so doing, honoring them for their service.
